Question
The questioner says: Is it permissible to trim the eyebrows? I am aware of the hadeeth where the Prophet ﷺ said: Allah cursed the Namisah (woman that removes hair from her own eyebrows/face) and the Mutnamisah (woman who removes hair from others’ eyebrows/faces) But some sisters trim their eyebrows and claim the Namisah refers to the woman that removes the eyebrow completely and uses a pen to draw-in the shape she wants. I would like clarification on this, may Allah do good to you:

This statement is not correct, rather the Namisah is the one that thins the eyebrows and removes part of them up until only what she wants remains. As for removing them completely so she can draw a line, this was not what the Arabs were accustomed to during Jahliyyah (pre-Islamic time of ignorance) and the Prophet ﷺ prohibited it.
Rather, the woman used to thin the eyebrow, trim it, and remove any part that rose up or sagged down so that the eyebrow would be symmetric and arched until those who saw it thought it was a natural formation. However, in reality it was only changing the natural formation. So my advice is that you should not give that any concern. For indeed true beauty is the beauty of the soul And the Taqwa (obedience out of fear and hope) of Allah The Exalted is the capital of the Muslim and the pinnacle of beauty.
And Allah knows best.
