Question
I want to give charity on behalf of my father, so what should I do during the act of giving charity? Should I say out loud (I dedicate) the reward of this to my father, or what should I do?

Fundamentally, when you intend it, it suffices; if you intended that it is for your father, it would be sufficient even without uttering it. However, if you utter it, it’s a form of affirmation. It is permissible to utter it.
